After a 40 year career as a geologist with various engineering construction companies, Brooklyn Union Gas and as Senior Geologist with USEPA's Superfund Division, (as well as being a geology professor at York CUNY College in NY, Rob retired and took up a new career as a Mark Twain impersonator and writer. He's a natural wit and has appeared on Broadway and at the historic Friar's Club in NYC. Rob attended the Hear Now Festival and read Mark Twain pieces at Prospero Books in 2016 and 2018.He received a Hear Now award for his contribution to the festival in 2018. He published a book, "Catching Twainitis Syndrome" about his experiences being mistaken for Mark Twain in 2019. Rob was cast as Twain in the 2019 audio presentation Tesla and Twain - Annihilating the Distance and is pleased to continue to support the Hear Now folks.
