Christina A. Harcar, Senior Director of Editorial Projects at Audible.com, has acquired and content for over 11 years, always in dialogue with audio listeners. A highlight of her tenure has been Audible’s Grammy win for Janis Ian’s Society’s Child in the category of Best Spoken Word Performance 2012In building Audible’s content offerings in History and Nonfiction, and then in partnership with Neal Gaiman’s label for ACX, she has worked on Audie Award winning audios, and can verify that it is just as much of an honor to be nominated! Christina’s roles at Audible encompass patent author, History Newsletter editor (please subscribe!), and occasional cameos in ACX University and Audicted podcast productions. Prior to joining Audible, Christina served as VP of Digital for Macmillan, VP of Subsidiary Rights for St. Martin’s Press, and Editorial Director at Random House Audio, where she acquired the titles for the industry’s first digital-only audio imprint, Random House Audible.
