Margaret Silver is a seasoned digital entertainment executive serving as the Head of Strategic Marketing for Podium Audio, an audio-first entertainment company that finances, develops, produces and distributes immersive audio content. Margaret oversees all marketing and brand development functions as the company scales its catalogue of 1300+ sci-fi/fantasy audiobooks and expands into original content crafted for immersive auditory experiences.
     Prior to joining Podium, Margaret served as the Co-Head of Marketing & Insights for the AT&T-backed global entertainment studio Gunpowder & Sky where she led the marketing and insights team for its film distribution, entertainment brand channels, studio projects and corporate marketing initiatives. She also led the company’s venture into the audio space by producing DUST, an award-winning, narrative sci-fi podcast. 
     Margaret also served as the first Head of Marketing for teen-focused entertainment company AwesomenessTV, which is currently owned by ViacomCBS Domestic Media Networks. In 2012, she led the brand launch as part of YouTube’s Original Programming initiative and played a critical role in the company’s rapid growth to over one billion views by the time the company sold to Dreamworks Animation SKG in 2013, nine months after the channel launched. 
Previously, Margaret co-founded the “Airbnb for kitchens” sharing-economy startup MyTable and served as an early employee at Collective Digital Studio, now Studio71/ProSieben. In 2013, she was named one of Hollywood’s New Leaders by Variety Magazine.
